VIP Summer Screenings | June 30: The Grand Budapest Hotel
The Oak Bay Beach Hotel is pleased to introduce our new VIP Summer Screenings. A combination of Classic films and new releases will be presented in our David Foster Foundation Theatre each Tuesday evening throughout the summer.
Each ticket includes complimentary parking, one glass of sparkling wine, a bottle of water, local charcuterie board and pre-packed theatre snacks such as popcorn and licorice.
We are offering theatre seating for groupings of 2 to 6, ensuring we maintain the provincial health guidelines and physical distancing protocols of the hotel. To minimize interactions and the need to line up, guests can take advantage of text-to-seat beverage purchasing.
The Grand Budapest Hotel is a 2014 comedy-drama film written and directed by Wes Anderson, which explores tragedy, war, fascism, nostalgia, friendship, and loyalty. When Gustave is framed for the murder of a wealthy dowager (Tilda Swinton), he and his recently befriended protégé Zero (Tony Revolori) embark on a quest for fortune and a priceless Renaissance painting against the backdrop of encroaching pandemonium.

Tickets must be pre-purchased online. No ticket sales at the door.
